The Spirit of Giving Network is a coalition of non-profit organizations primarily, but not limited to a focus on children and families in South Palm Beach County. With over 30 non-profit member organizations, we are the largest and most organized network in the area. The Spirit of Giving Network is having an impact on the delivery of services to thousands of South Palm Beach County’s underprivileged and underserved children.

The Spirit of Giving Network is transforming into a premier forum where non-profit organizations share information, resources, and best practices with each other and external community partners.  The mission is to help the Network members work together to provide access to resources and services that educate and build self-sufficiency.  This will be accomplished by instituting the concept of “purposeful communication” through networking, face-to-face meetings, and online interactions.

In addition, the Spirit of Giving conducts a Holiday Gift Drive each fall and a Back to School Bash each summer for 3,000 deserving children served by the agencies who are members of the Spirit of Giving Network.  The Junior League of Boca Raton and Barbara Schmidt are key players in these efforts, they will continue to coordinate and organize the drives, improving the efficiency of the process, marketing the event in the community and increasing the number of children who benefit from the event.
